6:25-6:55 – Central City in Motion SE 11th and 12th Ave Updates (30 min)
Gabe Graff, PBOT
As part of the Central City in Motion plan, PBOT is implementing near-term striping improvements on SE 11th and 12th Avenues between SE Ankeny and SE Clay streets to safely accommodate freight, transit, and neighborhood commuters. By repurposing one travel lane on each avenue, the project will deliver a wider lane for trucks and buses alongside new buffered bike lanes. Because street space is limited, PBOT is currently seeking community feedback to navigate design trade-offs, specifically balancing the addition of dedicated vehicle turn pockets against the preservation of existing on-street parking. 6:55 -7:50 – Transportation System Plan Update (55 min)
Francesca Jones, PBOT
The Transportation System Plan (TSP) is the 20‑year plan that guides transportation projects, programs, policies, and investments in Portland. Now halfway through the 3‑year work plan for the 2045 update, the project team will share recent progress and ask for feedback to help shape performance measures and the list of candidate major capital projects (pre-project prioritization). 2045 Transportation System Plan | Portland.gov
