Hi D4C Board,
You will notice that I’ve changed the format of these emails. It looks like we need to do a bit more work on our mailchimp to ensure these emails send seamlessly, so I apologize for the spottiness this week. We’ll hopefully get it fixed for next week.
Format change is for 2 main reasons: 1) to allow interested parties to subscribe to these updates (i.e. Neighborhood Association board members who are interested in D4C events and resources), and 2) as a part of our initial effort to integrate and streamline our systems (emails, socials, website, libraries). My hope is that you will find this format easier to navigate. Please feel free to forward this email to your NA membership.

Civic Engagement Opportunities
Tali Reed with the Office of Community & Civic Life is putting together a monthly digest of issues and events from the City that are prime opportunities for civic engagement that you can bring to your NAs for discussion. She’ll be sending her inaugural newsletter this week to all D4C Board members and NA leadership. We are working together to reduce information overlap and improve engagement access. Please feel free to share your thoughts with either myself or Tali on how we’re doing in these efforts.
To subscribe to these updates, email programdirector@d4cpdx.org.
Thank you!
