Connecting re Strategic Alignment Workshop

I just sent the distilled vision/mission statements to Todd to coordinate with the Executive Committee in preparation for the September Board meeting. Bylaws & Compliance Training
On September 8 from 2-3PM, David Atkin from the Center of Nonprofit Law will be giving a 1-hour training relating to Neighborhood Assocations’ Bylaws and ensuring compliance with regulations, including the current ONI Standards. If your NA has been contemplating updating your bylaws, we highly encourage someone from your NA to attend this training. D4C is also hiring Paul Leistner on a part-time basis (max 5-hours a week, contract pending) to assist District 4 NAs with any questions you may have, including assisting with your NA bylaws updates. Think of this training as: 1) hear important info from David, and 2) get practical assistance with Paul. Office Hours During 1-5 Shutdown
Because I will be on vacation from September 14-28 and Heather’s commute will likely be greatly effected by the I-5 Shutdown, we are asking that if you anticipate needing to come into the office during that time that you give Heather a heads-up before coming.
