The Portland Bureau of Transportation (PBOT) will be holding a Pedestrian Advisory Committee meeting on Tuesday, Aug. 11 from 6 to 8 p.m. The meeting is an in-person walking meeting beginning at the southeast corner of Pioneer Courthouse Square.
This is a walking meeting, so no hybrid option is available.

6:20-8 – PAC Walking Meeting of Downtown Infrastructure (1 hour and 40 min) Our August meeting is our annual in person walking meeting and will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 11. Note this is one week ahead of our usual meeting.
Our walking meeting will focus on new infrastructure and amenities in downtown Portland. We will start at southeast corner of Pioneer Courthouse Square. We will then walk to SW 4th Avenue to see the new streetscape project and hear from the project manager on how this updated design makes the road safer for pedestrians and cyclists. We will walk along SW 4th Avenue to Harvey Milk Street. Then we will walk up to SW Broadway and see the new planters that have been added to the protected bike lane. From there we will go just a couple of blocks to the new Darcelle XV Plaza. We will end the walk at The Cart Blocks on SW Park Avenue and West Burnside Street, where we can grab a snack or beverage and discuss what we saw on the walk.
