For some neighborhoods in Northwest Portland, the Metro Central Enhancement Grants offer funding for a wide range of community projects. A new funding cycle is open July 27-Septtember 14. Go to oregonmetro.gov/metrocentralgrants to learn more and see if your project is a good fit.
The grants fund programs and projects that address community needs through improved neighborhoods and community services, youth and adult programs, enhanced natural areas and recreational opportunities, increased waste preventionand community clean ups, improvements to non-profit building, benefit to underserved communities and more.
Community groups, schools, faith groups and service groups with nonprofit or other tax-exempt status may apply. Eligible projects must provide benefit to people or places inside the grant boundary shown on the webpage.
