Resource Rules:

  • Home Game As you likely guessed, items listed under the “Available for use in our office” can’t leave the NWNW offices and are not for use outside of them.
  • Workin’ 9-5 Our office is open business hours (from 9am to 5pm) Monday – Friday; please plan your work to happen within that time period or talk with us and we can try to arrange something else.
  • Remember the neighbors Our staff will be hard at work too, so anything done in the NWNW offices must not present undue distraction or interruptions.
  • With a little help from my friends NWNW is happy to help you access the office, lend tools/supplies we have on hand, use a tool/software you might not know how to operate, or provide other assistance to get you started. That being said, please remember that we’re not a full service copy/print shop or production studio and have other deadlines/commitments and a very tiny budget for supplies. We’re happy to get you started or help out here and there, and can also supply a small amount of consumable items, but you need to plan your project with the appropriate amount of help and funding for a majority of supplies needed factored into your goals/plan.
  • Leave no trace Please plan to clean up after after yourselves when finished working on your project and leave the space and any equipment better than (or at the least the same as) you found it.
  • Save the Date Please return borrowed items as soon as your project is complete so they are available for other people, groups, or neighborhoods. We’ll give you a “must return by” date on the Equipment Check Out Form too.
  • Be kind, rewind If you use or borrow our stuff, we expect you to take care of it–Equipment must be used in a responsible manner and every precaution must be taken to prevent loss or damage. In the event that the equipment is lost, stolen, or damaged the borrower must immediately notify Neighbors West-Northwest. Users/borrowers of NWNW owned items may be held responsible for any repair or replacement costs if the loss or damage is found to be the result of intentional misuse or negligence.
